RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

RETURNS POLICY

Sales and orders cannot be cancelled once finalised. In line with Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time.

Due to the delicate nature of our merchandise, we are not able to accept returns for non-faulty items, items which have been worn, or the tags removed under any circumstances. In addition, our vendors are unable to cancel or make any changes or modifications to any order once it has been placed. If for any reason you would like to cancel your order, 50% off the purchase price will be non-refundable. Please be sure of the style, size, colour, and any other specifications before submitting your order.

To ensure you receive your ordered garments in perfect condition, we carefully inspect all our items and document images of the garment for any manufacturing faults. We recommend that you try on the dress immediately on arrival and make all the necessary inspections as soon as possible.

In the very rare case that you have received a faulty garment and request an exchange, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the garment. The item will be repaired, replaced or refunded depending on the scenario and at our discretion.

  • Exchanges are only available for the same STYLE, COLOUR AND SIZE provided that the item has not been worn and the original tags are intact.
  • The dress must be shipped back within 2 days of receipt of return instructions. After this period the dress will not be accepted for return. All cost associated with shipping/insurance will be at the cost of the customer.
  • Once received, Clapetra will inspect the garment and check that it is in the same condition when sent out. This includes being unworn, original tags attached, original packaging included, garment must be in new condition, no marks or smells must be on the garment. The garment will NOT be returned if it doesn’t fit these conditions.
  • If these conditions are met, an exchange will be made for the same item ordered, in the same colour, size and style. If it is out of stock, the consumer may choose another dress to exchange to, or a refund will be completed.
  • If the cost of the replacement item is less than the original purchase, you may choose to purchase other items with the remaining value, or request a credit note to the remaining value. Please note that credit notes will not be issued for the value of less than $20. Credit notes will be valid for 3 months from date of issue.
  • Colour Disclaimer;despite every effort to accurately dipict each product’s colour on our website, actual colours may vary. Due to monitor and/or video card differences as well as photography lighting, subtle variations in colour and surface texture may not be fully revealed. Therefore, you need to be certain that any slight variations occurring between the actual colour, and the representation on our website, will be acceptable.

SALE ITEMS

No Returns, Refunds or Exchanges on Sale Items. These dresses are sold as is, any defects, if any, are part of the dresses being sold at a discounted rate.

LAY-BYS

  • 30% of the total balance must be deposited in order to complete a lay-by. There is a deadline of 6 weeks, whereby all items must be paid for in full and collected within 6 weeks of the lay-by commencement date. If the consumer fails to collect their lay-by within the 6 week period, their deposit and any payments are lost. No Lay-bys are permitted on discounted or sale items. If the layby is cancelled, the cancellation charge is 30% of the total purchase price, or alternatively a credit note issued for the payment made to use on full price items.

GENERAL

Clapetra reserves the right to add or modify any information on our site at anytime without notification. By ordering from clapetra.com.au, you agree to all terms stated on our website.

AUSTRALIA WIDE SHIPPING

  • Free Shipping is available for any purchase over $300.
  • A flat rate of $15.00 will be charged for all shipping under $300.
  • Orders will be shipped within 10 working days. If you have not received an order within 10 days, please contact us via email on info@clapetra.com.au.

International Shipping

  • The cost for international shipping is a flat rate of $30 per item.
